dragonboat festival last weekend ended with us breaking our team's best timing over the months of trainings and pacing.
my last official major race before i go mia for 5months as a cheap labour in the industry. i don't understand why are we always so unlucky to always get the most unfriendly lane in competitions. I knew the outcome when i first heard about the lanes that we were getting.
months of sacrifice, pushing hard for every training ended with nothing in return just because of the lane. its definitely not like other sports, fair and all. but again, who'll actually understand what i'm trying to say.
i thought we were great for the last set though. outer lane, light water, there's no excuse for getting a lousy timing. though we didn't qualify for the grand finals, i'm still proud of you guys.
so much things to say.. but i guess some things are better left unsaid.
