i don't know why i'm so happy about singapore winning the bid of the very first youth olympics. nobody expected us to be the finalist, let alone winning the bid.
that shows how a small country like us can achieve big things. dare to dream, so they say.
im sure we'll do a great job.

still with the yog, somehow, i'm quite disappointed in tp not doing anything to support the bid. so much for wanting to promote Team Temasek. no initiatives from saa? team temasek committee? tpsu? i guess they didn't realise that was a form of advertising for the school. just look at how nyp got mentioned by PM Lee in his speech.
