this holiday is all about paying my dues - hitting the gym every other non-training days.
no. i'm not going to sit, back, relax and enjoy the holiday cause what i'm doing is so much different from others. people don't train 7days and they don't work 4 days a week.
trainings have never been so enjoyable and satisfying. sure, the intensity is going up. its all about giving your all for every training and having no regrets about not pushing your limits. we're a much weaker team this year. which probably is the reason why everyone is pushing hard. by the rate that we are going, i'm confident the other teams won't win without a tough fight.
work doesn't feel like work anymore. always dreading to go to work but during operations, its just like a routine which i need to do, serve. by this time, earning money is already a secondary issue. i can easily find a job paying much more than what i'm getting now but i didn't because thats the "nature" of the hospitality industry. long hours, low pay. and by using it as a platform, i'm still learning how to provide service which is deemed as good in the industry.
well, it may look easy. but there's so much more to learn..
