my GM asked me how's everything
during roll call yesterday
i said good, everything's going well
and he said let's have a small chat next week..
i don't know why but i'm quite scared actually
i thought of the questions he would probably ask
and i realized i haven't set my goals and targets for this SIP.
that's not a good thing at all
cause without a goal you would've achieved nothing.
i'm glad i've learnt quite a few stuff from the lads
and i'm still learning and familiarising with what needs to be done.
people might be thinking i'm having an easy time over there
cause i've worked there previously.
but seriously, it's so much different being a part-timer
and a full-time management trainee.
you're expected to know almost everything
there's no excuses for service deficiencies
you get to really understand the operations of a restaurant
how exactly staffs are being managed
how problems are being solved
participate in meetings, give opinions and suggestions
and the list goes on...
i'll be doing service for a good few months
will get a chance to experience being a trainee
in the kitchen of one of the best restaurants in singapore
which is really scary
and probably a few weeks doing paperwork at the office.
i'm quite happy with my schedule for this new week.
anddddd....
i should get a tan soon cause im getting way too fair.
damn.
to give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity..
